ANY road to true wellness starts with getting rid of the road block – toxic waste in our GUT and ‘UN-TRAPPING’ your LIVER.
Anything we ingest that our bodies have difficulty with is normally covered with mucus as a defensive reaction – this could include the many chemicals used in our food production to the preservatives used in vaccines. This mucus and waste would normally be expelled into the toilet.
Unfortunately many of us do not consume enough fibre and water in our diet with the result that the mucus and waste builds up in thick layers within our small intestines and colon.
By the time we’re adults we could be walking around with kilos of putrid waste in our bodies that we’re not even aware of.
Just one of the bad things this waste does is to interfere with nutrient absorption. This is why unhealthy conditions persist even when we change to healthier diets. We could be eating very healthily and taking all kinds of health supplements – but how much is really getting absorbed?
Another serious consequence is on our moods and emotions. 90% of the ‘feel good’ hormone serotonin is produced in the small intestines – are you moody and sometimes depressed? Your serotonin levels may be low due to this waste.
Dr Bernard Jensen who is a respected authority on intestinal cleansing explains – The heavy mucus coating thickens and becomes a host of putrefaction. The blood capillaries to the intestines begin to pick up the toxins, poisons and noxious debris as it seeps through the bowel wall. All tissues and organs of the body are now taking on toxic substances. You now have auto-intoxication. This is when your body becomes so polluted that you poison yourself from the inside.
When we have these sewer like conditions within our bodies it should be no surprise that we develop illness and suffer conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, gout, low energy and general ill health.
BUT WHAT CAN WE DO?
With correct detoxing we can get rid of this mucus and years old waste by doing a deep intestinal cleanse. Depending upon age and other factors this can take several weeks to several months. Doing the cleanse can start reversing the damage and allow the body to heal many adverse conditions. The cleanse will involve taking quality fibres and herbs on a daily basis with plenty of water.
You can work and follow you’re regular diet. When the mucus and waste starts coming out you will see it in the toilet. It will often be floating and looks like ropey fat. It will also have the shape of the intestines because its been inside you for years.
Another part of the body that gets congested is the liver and gall bladder. Cleansing of these important organs can also give amazing health benefits.
The liver is the main chemical and hormone factory of the body and has over 500 functions. These functions include the controlling of cholesterol levels and the activation and deactivation of hormones not to mention its role in the digestion process. You may have heard about gall stones. These calcified stones are hard and easily seen with x-ray. Before the stones calcify and harden they are soft and cannot be seen on x-ray. The majority of us may have many soft stones choking our liver and gall bladder. This can be proven by doing a 1 day cleanse called a liver and gall bladder flush which ejects the stones into the toilet the following morning.
How to do the flush
The flush is done over an evening and the following morning. You will have diarrhoea for a few hours so choose a day like Saturday so you can be at home.
You will need:
4 heaped dessert spoons of epsom salts,
1/2 a cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup grapefruit juice (fresh or carton)
Grapefruit juice is the only juice that mixes with olive oil.
Olive oil is the only type of oil that will work. It is the best stimulator for bile.
Both the epsom salts and olive oil are essential for a successful flush.
Morning, have a light breakfast of cereal and/or fruits. Have a light lunch of say 2 slices
bread, salad and/or fruit and vegetables. Tea and coffee is OK. Smokers may smoke.
Not too much milk, butters, cheese, meat, fish, fried foods, nuts and no alcohol.
Do not eat heavily after 2pm – and definitely no solids after 4pm.
You may drink any liquid – water, fruit juice, tea.
6pm Drink 1 heaped dessert spoon of epsom salts in juice or water.
9.45pm Go toilet for last time and get ready for bed. Mix olive oil and grapefruit juice.
10pm Drink oil/juice mixture within 1 minute and lie down in bed immediately.
In the morning drink as much water as possible.
6am Drink 1 heaped dessert spoon of epsom salts in juice or water.
You will be going to the toilet several times in the morning. you will see stones floating in the toilet. What you won’t see are the small grains sinking to the bottom – these contain toxic heavy metals.
You will probably be very hungry. Resist the urge to eat too quickly – you’ve just done a powerful detox and your digestive system needs to rest.
You can start eating fruit from 10am. Have a light lunch. By late afternoon/early evening you can eat normally.
Over the next few days you will have a feeling of well-being. Then, the stones at the back of the liver will fill the space of the ones you just flushed out.
To get all the stones out you may have to do about 6 to 12 flushes. Wait 1 to 3 weeks in between flushes.
