Juicing, instead of Fasting, on a Monday for a fresh Approach to 2021

The buzz word at the moment is Intermittent Fasting. Not for all but for those looking for another healthy suggestion going into 2021 you might consider the following especially if you like to vegetable and fruit juicing. The result is a good clean out of the weekend and post-Christmas naughtiness. At least you are not being too cruel too the body yest supplying enough good healthy energy too tackle the New Year.

What to do?

You only need 5 green vegetables and fruit – celery, green marrow, green pepper, bitter gourd, and green apples.

This specific healthy formula when consumed, especially over a period of time, is believed to be helpful in healing a wide range sicknesses such as high blood pressure, liver sickness, skin itchiness, anxiety, insomnia, diabetes, piles, frequent urination, high cholesterol, cold, constipation, obesity, and stomach problems.  


Quite simply by drinking this healthy drink all day you also optimise digestive enzymes from these fresh raw fruit and vegetables in juice form; also an excellent way to help increase our anti-toxinenzyme intake and keeping you healthy and resistant to diseases. Add water as need to take in comfortably and optimise the ‘flushing of any toxins action’. I have tried this detox method several times, for as long as a few weeks in a row, and have found it to be effective for improving my bowel system, appetite, concentration power and energy level.

Ingredients for 1 Person’s Consumption:

2 strips of celery

180 ml green marrow

Half green pepper

180 ml bitter (green) melon

1 green apple (remove core and seeds)


This recipe makes 1-2 cups.  Crush all the five ingredients (room temperature, not refrigerated) with an electric juicer. Take it in the morning with an empty stomach at least half an hour before breakfast. Consume extracted liquid within 15 minutes. The concoction tastes slightly bitter but the addition of apple makes it very palatable. This formula can be taken for a week to a few months. For a start, to help the body make the adjustments, you can do 2-3 times a week, and then increase to 5 days a week. In the first few days, you might feel bloatedness in the stomach, but it will go away subsequently as you continue with the detox

I have found those battling with bloatedness are merely battling an imbalance of the healthy good bacteria, so including a daily dose of probiotic helps. Simply add to your juice:
