Getting Ready for those Lunch boxes. By now some are back at work, others waiting for school to start but the same health issues remains. What to eat? What to add to those lunch boxes to ensure your healthiest you is maintained, especially in these compromised times. I personally love taking my Nucleo mix ready to go, on the road, either add your water or milk or simply shake if already prepared and drink – all your super nutrition in one serving, even for youngsters (just remember to add your daily tot of Imsyser probiotic for optimal results!!):
But for those that want to nibble and need to chew here are some energy-dense foods that are perfect for your healthiest you which remains core right now. They also happen too excellent choices for athletes and the gym buddies looking to build where necessary:
●Nuts: Almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts, peanuts, etc.
●Dried fruit: Raisins, dates, prunes etc.
●High-fat dairy: Whole milk, full-fat yogurt (both excellent choices to add too Nucleo for a super drink), cheese (remember less colour remains healthier!!), cream for the coffee.
●Grains: Whole grains for those sandwiches; oats for the healthier biscuits and brown rice salads.
●Meat: Chicken, beef, , lamb…. but keep cold.
●Tubers: Potatoes, sweet potatoes and yams are excellent sources of sides for a salad meal and excellent.
And finally, the sweet tooth foodies…..
●Dark chocolate, peanut butter, coconut milk added to the Nucleo, granola bars (but not too many!!). Dates are fantastic in this case so date cookies work.
Remember when preparing:
●Fats and oils: Extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil. Prepare all meals with these oils for best brain power ever. Avo is also an excellent food choice for brain power.
