Its holiday time and not a moment too soon. We have earned this one….2015 has been a challenging year so celebrations are in order. Personally I’d like to reward myself for making it to December!
I hate to be the voice of reason Dianne, but I just cannot help myself.
If you are anything like me, celebrating is not a very healthy pass-time. What is nicer than a cold ice-cream when the sun is hot? Or that slab of chocolate while you are reading (followed by a quick nap). No gym in sight, no alarms to shout you awake in the morning, just endless days of resting and time for yourself with a snack in one hand and a glass of wine in the other. Sheer bliss!
Maybe I am telling you this to convince myself as well but let’s proceed a little more cautiously when giving in to the holiday vibe this year. Let us be mindful of the work we’ve put in during the year and not cancel all the good we’ve done by pigging out over December. Of course the napping, resting and more time for yourself, with lovely walks in nature, make for excellent and healthy relaxation!
Despite our best intentions, keeping the munchies at bay is not always easy to do. We all need a little support to remain standing when holiday time comes around. That’s why we’ve put together our ‘Holiday Survival Toolkit’ for all our active patients, on our program, during December, as our gift to help and support you. Please collect from our offices before 15 December 2015.
I’ll carry on using our natural supplement to control my appetite. It contains, among others, Hoodia gordonii. The Koisan used this specific species to control hunger on long hunting trips. Nowadays, this community benefits from cultivating and harvesting this indigenous herb. Appetrol also contains Garcinia cambogia (HCG), 5HTP and chromium to curb your appetite and cravings naturally. Click here to order online and for more information about the composition of Appetrol.
We also have our Facebook page to provide ongoing support throughout this challenging time complete. Click here to like our page and get our daily support notifications.
Make an appointment now, for your health screening in January by clicking here – have a guilt free holiday, knowing you are starting the new year on the right foot and in the right mind.
Please remember that we close on the 15th of December this year and will be back on the 4th of January 2016. Be sure to stock up on your fat loss and natural supplements to last until we’re back.
And then last, but not least – tune into Cape Talk 702 at 14:00 on Thursday 3 December 2015 when I discuss diabetes and metabolic syndrome.
