Poor circulation is a serious health issue and can be caused by various factors like smoking, poor physical activity, diabetes, hypertension, blood clots, atherosclerosis, and drug abuse.

In most cases, the symptoms develop gradually and before you know it, it manifests in various disease forms. The rout cause is in reality thick, sticky blood with coagulated red blood cells restricting blood flow and/ worse!!

More water

One of the first routes to take in salvaging this crisis is always by drinking more water. Not just water, good alkaline water to assist in managing, in reality, an acidity issue.  You need to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily to improve the blood flow. Moreover, this will help the transfer of nutrients and oxygen to the organs and tissues, and the cells and tissues will be hydrated, and overall health is almost instantly restored.

One of the fist organs to give up its level of hydration to salvage bodily health is the gut and this explains the chronic cases of constipation seen by most doctors even in and including many cases where children are involved. If you do not take in enough water most definitely the first place of depletion is the gut. So, by taking enough water, gut health is improved which mean digestion will be boosted, and the poor circulation of blood will be treated successfully.

Other Foods to the rescue

It is always about nutrition and not just the benefits of such from our foods but the added benefits these food sources may bring to the table:

  • Ginger — the regular consumption of ginger will prevent cardiovascular diseases and the formation of blood clots in the body. It contains two potent active compounds – gingerols and zingerone, which will warm up the body and boost the blood flow.
  • Garlic– Researchers have shown that garlic significantly improves heart health, lowers the risk of atherosclerosis, lowers blood pressure, and prevents the accumulation of plaque in the arteries.
  • Horse chestnut-Its active compound Escin effectively strengthens capillary walls, fights inflammation, treats poor blood flow, and varicose veins.
  • Essential oils like ginger, thyme, rosemary, have potent thermogenic effects by boosting the blood flow to the surface of the skin due to expanding capillaries. Moreover, these oils relax the tensed muscles and relieve numbness in the feet and hands.

I always try and salvage the situation first think in the morning by drinking the ‘optimised’ water first thing on an empty stomach. So, I add my own nutrient solution, Sole, to the water and then a huge swig of lemon juice. This first thing, no coffee, simply the very first thing I do in the morning. And, if I can remember, even last thing at night.

As for the rest of the water I drink during my day, I pretty much follow accordingly, the water drinking routine stays the same.

And then to ensure I get all the above ingredients in, I do a special ‘cocktail’; this after I have had the water. Once again before the coffee and or breakfast. ;like I said as on an empty stomach.

1 Tablespoon Honey

1 teaspoon of Cinnamon

¼ teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper

½ teaspoon of Ginger

2-4 Tablespoons of Apple Cider vinegar

Hot water

You can adapt all of these to taste, but, remember, always on an empty stomach. You have all the ingredients to assist in ‘melting down’ of the soluble, thinning of the blood and increased circulation as needed for any 1 day.
