Celery juice is full of nutrients and is among the healthiest fluid you may enter in the body. Because it is very alkaline, balances the pH of the body, which is due to industrially processed foods are often acidified. Celery leaves are rich in vitamin A, while the stem is an excellent source of vitamins B1, B2, B6 and C, are full of potassium, folate, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, sodium and essential amino acids. There are also plant hormones and valuable essential oils that give celery specific smell. This oil has good affections on the nervous system and calming properties. It is interesting that the celery is rich in sodium, which is different from salt we normally use in the kitchen. Namely, the table salt is composed of insoluble inorganic compounds, which lead to the development of varicose veins, the arteries, and other diseases. On the other hand, the sodium from celery is soluble in water, and then the body can better use and to maintain the hybridization of the cells.

Celery lowers the level of cholesterol by as much as seven times, if you eat only two stems per day. Celery also helps in increasing the secretion of bile acids which removes cholesterol from the body.

    A special nutrient from the fiber celery helps the intestinal motility. This celery seems natural laxative that helps you get rid of constipation. It helps relax nerves exhausted with pharmaceutical laxatives.
  3. Diuretic 
    Potassium and sodium in celery juice are powerful regulators that stimulate the production of urine, helping the body to get rid of the excess fluid.
  4. Anti-inflammatory activity
    Poly acetylene in celery is incredible stuff for relief of inflammation, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, asthma, and bronchitis. A study revealed that other powerful phytochemicals from celery, luteolin prevents activation of pathways that allow the generation of inflammation in the brain. Luteolin also inhibits excess of TNF-alpha production, the direct cause of the inflammation. Celery juice, you can drink as much as you want without fear of overdose.
  5. Lowers blood pressure
    Celery helps to reduce high blood pressure. Studies show that drinking celery juice daily for a week can significantly help to reduce blood pressure. The compounds called phthalides help in relaxing the muscles around the blood vessels, expanding the blood vessels and allow easier blood flow. Phtalides also reduce the level of stress hormones, which, among other, is causing compression of the blood vessels.
  6. Insomnia
    Minerals and essential oils in celery juice have a calming effect on the nervous system, which is useful for those who suffered from insomnia. High levels of magnesium will help you relax and fall into the sleep.
  7. Weight Loss
    Drinking celery juice throughout the day helps curb the desire for sweets. You are charging the stomach without intake of calories.
  8. Elimination and Prevention of stones
    Celery juice is incredible eliminator of toxins from the body and thus helps to break up and expel urinary stones and gallstones.


The simplest way is to use a juicer and celery combined with other fruits and vegetables. Celery can be freely mixed with other fruit and vegetable juices such as carrot juice, apple or cucumber. Recommended a mixture of juice from carrots, beetroot and celery in the ratio of 8: 3: 5, carrots, cabbage and celery in the ratio 1: 4: 5 and carrots, celery and radish in the ratio of 8: 5: 3.


2 handfuls of spinach
1/2 cucumber & Celery & 1 sprig parsley & 4 leaves of fresh mint
3 carrots & 2 green apples & 1/4 lime
1/4 lemon & 150 g pineapple & Ginger, root, thumb-sized, chopped


All the ingredients put them into the blender, mix it well and serve immediately  = 1 Litre. ( add water if necessary)
